A current dilema I am facing for the “Indie Feature Film Experiment” is what to title the movie.  Before I start setting up a website and a Kickstarter page I figure it might be nice to at least have a working title beyond just calling it an “experiment.”

This is where your help comes in.  To recap, this is what is going down: 1) I am going to write a feature length script in April for Script Frenzy and hopefully get some rewrites in as well. 2) Start pre-production in May, fundraise with Kickstarter (it will be super low budget, maybe $5000 or so), cast, secure locations, etc. 3) Start production towards the end of June. 4) Begin post-production and have a movie ready for the Sundance Film Festival submission deadline in either August or September 2011.

What I will give you is the Logline to my story and leave what you think would be a good title in the comments on this page.  The best title contributor will receive a credit in the movie and a copy of the final film, so make sure your email address is correct so I can contact you.

Also, if the script has a title it can be nominated to have a movie poster made for it over at Script Frenzy. Click here to nominate the film (we need a title first)

Title away.

Logline:
A military scout discovers a massive bomb set to go off, but the arriving enemy reveals that her military must be warned of something bigger about to happen.
A military scout must defuse a bomb with only minutes left on the timer, but soon finds out the enemy has something much deadlier planned.

Genre:
Sci-Fi/Thriller

Current title(s) I’ve considered: “Defuse” or “Survival Cracked”
(see if you can come up with a better one)

There is currently no official deadline for entries, but if I come up with the perfect title before you do then I win.  I’m a fast thinker so you better hurry. There is also no limit to the amount of suggestions you make.

The Contest Is Now Closed – A Title Has Been Chosen:  Announcement of Winner Will Be Thursday, April 14, 2011 @ 2pm.

Thank you to all who participated.
